Introducing WasteLess: A Family-Owned Business in Houston, TX.
We are a team of chemical engineers driven by a passion for optimization and a relentless pursuit of waste-reduction. Upon relocating to Houston, we couldn't believe the staggering amount of waste generated daily at our apartment complex and corporate office. Convinced that there had to be a more sustainable alternative to landfills, we applied our scientific expertise to address the issue. We initiated our own waste-reduction journey by composting all compostable waste, resulting in a substantial decrease in our overall trash output.
Intrigued by our community's waste disposal practices, we contacted local businesses and were shocked to discover that the majority were not composting. While many expressed interest, the concept had simply not crossed their minds. Driven by a commitment of waste-reduction, we founded WasteLess. Our mission is to leverage the power of science to convert waste into valuable commodities, thereby contributing to a more sustainable and efficient waste management paradigm.
